Migraines are the worst!  I get them every month right along with good ole’ PMS.  Nothing I take helps whether it is over the counter or an essential oil roller – doesn’t work.

I fight through it and even go to work.  I am not one who will miss work from a headache of any kind and perhaps that goes against my better judgement of self care but it is who I am.

I recently ordered some CBD from a company out of California called VICI Wellness.  I ordered the OH Mi-Graine and the Monthly Mayhem patches.  I am super excited to try them.  I will let you know how they worked for me and perhaps you can give them a try.

Most migraines are on either one side of the head or the other.  It’s frustrating to differentiate headaches when you are susceptible to different ones.  I get sinus headaches, but not the sinus pressure, tension headaches and migraines due to PMS.

The hardest part is if you get more than one of those headaches at the same time.  How do you know which over-the-counter remedy you need to take?  The struggle is real.

How many of you have tried CBD of any kind?  I won a basket of CBD products from a company here in Idaho.  I used a roll-on stick for pain on my foot when it was hurting and within a few minutes it felt much better.  Am I a total believer yet?  No, but I am willing to keep trying these products.

What is the connection between Migraines and PMS?

Of course these two go together to drive us crazy when we do not have time to deal with them.  The Mayo clinic has an article that explains the connection with the estrogen and progesterone hormones that play a part in migraines.  I included the link for further research on your part.

As I shared in a previous post, I take supplements to help my hormones and I know I specifically focused on the stress hormone but the prescription supplement I do take helps with estrogen and progesterone hormones.  (link previous article)

I suffer from Migraines and PMS even though I am taking supplements.  It is never a fun part of the month especially the migraines.  Once I can get a migraine under control, I can pretty much handle the PMS without any issues.

Whatever you deal with when it comes to migraines and PMS I hope that you are finding ways to manage it the best you can.  My children are adults so I am fortunate that way, but some of you still have children at home and migraines or PMS do not mix well with that.
